누가21:32의 "이세대"란 무엇인가?

다음에 열거된 성구를 비교해보면 즉시알  수 있다. (창세기7:1/누가11:29,30/누가11:32/누가11:50/마태11:16)

1)창세기:7:1;
"Then Jehovah God said to Noah: ‘Now you and your family must enter the chest, because I have found [just] you to be righteous among this generation."

여기의 표현은 노아당시"세대"를 "불의한"것으로 묘사하고있다. 왜냐하면 노아의 "의로운"입장과 그들"세대"를 대조하고 있기 때문이다.

2)누가11:29,30;
"Well, a crowd was starting to form, so he said: ‘This is a wicked generation that is always looking for signs. But no sign will be given to it other than the sign of Jonah… 30 for as Jonah was a sign to the people of Nineveh, so the Son of Man will be to this generation."

예수께서 사용하신 용어 "이세대"를 악한사람들의 세대란 의미로 사용하셨다.

3)누가11;32;
‘The people of Nineveh will be raised in the Judgment along with this generation, and they will also condemn it. For they repented at what Jonah preached. But look! Something more than Jonah is here!'

니느웨 사람들과 함께 예수 당시 사람들의 세대도 부활될것이다! 이성구역시 "이세대"란 용어를  "악한세대"의 의미로 사용하셨다.

4)누가11:50;"And this is why the blood of all the Prophets that’s been spilled since this system was founded will be laid upon this generation… 51 from the blood of Abel that of ZechariAh, who [was murdered] between the [Temple] and Altar. Yes I tell you; it will all be laid upon this generation!"

누가11장에는 "이세대"란 용어가 가장 빈번히 등장한다. 무엇보다도 누가11장에서 예수께서 긍정적의미로 이"용어"를 단한번도 사용하지 않으셨다는 점이다! 따라서 단어의 용례를 고려해볼때, 누가21장32절의 "이세대"가 결코 "하나님의 거룩한자들" 혹은 "기름부음받은자의 세대"로 해석될 수 없음이 분명하다.
