The Sequence of Day of the Lord
Throughout the Bible we find references to ‘the Day of Yehowah,’ and ‘the Day of the Lord’ (Jesus). Are both of these references speaking of the same period?
There appears to be no conflict; in fact, it could be that the wording in each case should always read, ‘Day of the Lord,’ since we question whether the Divine Name was originally ever used when speaking prophetically of this event. However, even if both God and ‘the Lord’ are spoken of in connection with this day, there is still no conflict. For notice what we are told in the Revelation, when it is speaking of the beginning of that Day (at Revelation 12:10):
‘Now has come the salvation and the power,
As well as the Kingdom of our God;
For His Anointed has now been empowered,
And the accuser of our brothers has been cast down,
Who blames them before God day and night!’
As you can see, the purposes of that Day are tied together. For the establishment of God’s Kingdom (with the battle in heaven and the ouster of the Opposer and his messengers) and the empowering of Jesus (the Lord) to begin his rule, appear to be simultaneous.
So, will the things spoken of in the Revelation happen before ‘the Lord’s Day’ begins? No, for notice that the book starts out with the words (at Revelation 1:10), ‘Through the Breath [of God] I found myself in the Lord’s Day.’
Therefore, we must assume that all the things mentioned in the Revelation will happen DURING the Lord’s Day.
Then, what are some of the things to look for that will lead up to that Day?
1)Well, one of the first signs mentioned is the "ouster" of the Opposer and his messengers from heaven (see Revelation 12).
2) After this ouster these spirits beings will persecute the holy ones because they observe the commandments of God and have the work of bearing witness to Jesus. 《This means many holy ones will be killed!》 (Re12:17) 《This killings should be occured after their prophesying》
According to the record of Re11:3 these holy ones will prophesy for 1,260 days which means 3.5 years.
Nobody could kill during three and half years these holy ones because they will be protected by divine power!( See Re11:5 and Re 12:14) How these holy ones could have the power of prophesying? (See Joel 2:28~32)
This is the power of Holy spirit, like the event of Pentecost of AD 33 in Jerusalem.
These people will be the Elijah Group who will be appeared before the Lord's day!( See Malachi 4:5)
Obviously the Baptist John was the Elijah but in the future another Elijah should be appeared! (See Matthew 17:11; This is the very important prophesy of Jesus Christ!)
3)This is followed by the destruction of ‘The Great Babylon’ (See Revelation 17, 18).
4)Then in rapid succession comes the resurrections of the firstfruits to meet the Lord in the air. (This could mean all the members of firstfruits together will be caught away in the clouds) (1Thessalonians 4:17)
5) Then there will be wedding reception of the Lamb, in the third heaven or in the atmosphere ? we don't know. And there will be many who invited to this evening meal of Lamb's marriage; obviously these are not the bride group! this is sayings of God! (Re19:9)
So we do know this evening meal will be in the third heaven or atmosphere because there is Lamb's home!
We do not know these invited people will live in the third heaven or will be back on the earth, because the Bible clearly not says this issue.
6)And after this evening meal of heaven will break on the earth the Battle of Armageddon, and the false prophet and wild beast and the kings of the earth will be caught and be hurled into the second death. (See Re 19:20)
7)After the Battle Armageddon Satan and Devil who is original sepent will be seized and bound for 1,000years and be hurled into the Abyss!
8)Now will start the Reign by the Lamb and holy ones, and it will last during 1,000years.
9)After starting the reign by Lamb and holy ones, there will be normal people's resurrections (see Revelation chapter 20).
10)And at the end of the Lord’s Day, we read that the Opposer will be released from the abyss for a short time, which leads to the battle against Gog of Magog …
11) This is followed by the Descent of ‘New JeruSalem’ to the earth and the making of the ‘new land and new sky’ (see Revelation 21).
